Easter 2013

It's funny, for some reason Easter seems to be the only holiday I consistently capture on our blog. Maybe it's because the weather is warming up (except for these random snow storms we've been having well into April) and it's the first holiday we spend outside. This year was no exception. We were blessed with warm weather and some visiting friends, and I felt especially lucky that both Meghan and Erin took on camera duty so I was able to enjoy the festivities without having to be behind the lens the whole time.

On Saturday, we went to our gym, where they had a bounce house, face painting, clowns, and an egg hunt. The weather was perfect, so they held it outside this year. Janie got to meet the Easter Bunny, or as we call him in our house, EB. And Ryann kicked some major butt on the egg hunt. She was all business and I think Billy said ended up with 31 eggs.

Ryann decided she wanted a snake on her arm instead of a face painting.

The cutest pirate you ever did see.

Check out this stud...

There was a clown magic show, that apparently Billy and I were not too impressed with. haha

And here's Crazy Meggie teaching Ry how to hoola-hoop.

But they decided it was more fun to try and jump through the moving hoop.

Potato sack race!

And the smoochy bear taking it all in from the sidelines.

Here's the Easter Egg hunt. Yes, that is a Target bag that she's collecting her eggs in. Luckily, I wasn't the only mom who didn't think to bring a basket, so she wasn't the only one out there with a ghetto-bag. ;)

I LOVE this one...

Awww-yeah!

Easter morning at home.

This one is quite the model. As soon as the camera is on her she turns on the smiles. Love it!

Realizing she gets to eat all that candy for breakfast:

Happy Easter!
